Great rural location, just a stone's throw away from Guildford and the south coast. Surrounded by a quaint farm, a serene lake, and a lush forest in the backdrop 🌳. Loved having a cozy coffee table, a comfy lounge area, and a TV spot right in the room.

The hotel staff were an absolute credit to you. Everyone was so very helpful during my recent business trip for two days. I was unwell on my first night and asked for some ice and water. A very polite young man came over with the ice and Chris from reception brought the water. The next evening the manager of the restaurant asked how I was feeling, as well as Chris on reception. The food was outstanding. The hotel rooms were immaculate and the surroundings were beautiful. I hope to be cone back soon with my partner. Liz sherwood.

We had a good room for the price payed, but in addition to the accommodation guests were allowed free access to the spa which meant we had terrific value for our money. Guests are also offered the option of checking out late to enable over-night visitors the chance to use the facilities.
I was a little disappointed in the cooked section of the breakfast , but other snacks and afternoon tea purchased at the hotel were excellent.

Had an excellent stay at the Tom Jones Tribute night. We booked an immaculately clean and very spacious room. - the room had a good TV and a fan on a timer. - the hotel had a countryside location near a lake. - Close to a smart new restaurant, fountain, and the nearby forest and hills. - This hotel met our purpose, we can just recommend it to others.

Excellent staff, all of whom did whatever was needed to make our stay fabulous. The pool was the best indoor pool I have swum in - during the children's time, swimming remained a pleasure. The spa treatments were professional and well done. We stayed in the huge room "Cleeves" above the restaurant in the old house - noise wasn't too much of a problem. They gave us that room because we asked for a long bed. The 15 Century ceiling beams were very low but the bed was great. The room service menu was really good and we used it twice. Breakfasts can carry on in the lounge area (or outside) with papers even after everything has been cleaned up.
The restaurant's quality is very uneven - I think it is a lottery on who is cooking. The best chef is very good but the other cooks are not. The hotel is quite isolated - after swimming, treatments, croquet and going for a walk there isn't much more to do. The road into Haslemere is dangerous to walk on (we didn't have a car) but I now discover there is a right-of-way out the back which is quite direct and provides walking access to the towns round about.
